Hat #6 - Freda Hat

Took a trip up to Sedona today and made this hat along the way. It is a dark sable brown polar fleece top and a black brim. I used a wide grosgrain in a dusty medium brown for a band. I played more with nickel finish studs today, using them to attach the ribbon to the hat. The detail ribbons are satin ribbons in three colors with a large vintage burgundy button in the center.

Front view of the Freda hat with detail on the left, micro fleece earflaps make this hat perfect.

Slightly off center view of the Freda hat.

Detail of the Freda hat. Three colors of satin ribbon looped and studded onto a wide grosgrain ribbon. The burgundy ribbon reaches towards the center of the crown of the hat.

Day 6 - We took a trip up to Sedona with my family and my brother Larry. We took a beautiful hike around Cathedral rock, through a valley along a river filled with sycamore and cotton wood trees. Lots of red clay and rocks with twisted juniper trees.
